Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan will be in Urunga tomorrow for mobile office appointments and residents interested in catching up with him can still register to attend. This day was brought forward from the original date of 9 September.

A second mobile office is being held this week at Crescent Head on Thursday 17 September.

“Engaging with residents is important as I can be a more effective member by getting out and about and listening to people and community groups,” he said.

“I know times have been challenging with our region experiencing bushfires at the start of this year and then the coronavirus pandemic, so I want to make it as easy as possible for residents to meet with me.”

So far this year Mr Conaghan has held mobile offices at Dorrigo, Willawarrin, Bellbrook, Taylors Arm, Macksville, Kempsey and Bellingen.

The key themes residents spoke about were challenges from the bushfires, impacts from COVID-19 and aged care.
