Mobile offices kick off again

Now that coronavirus restrictions have eased and small group catch-ups are allowed, Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan is restarting mobile offices.

“Let us all enjoy the reward of flattening the COVID-19 curve responsibly by adhering to the Public Health Order and continuing social distancing and good hygiene practices,” he said.

“For me, I am enjoying having a meal out with my family again and I am looking forward to restarting mobile offices.

“The key to the success of Australia’s COVID-19 response has been the community.

“Everyone has played their part to stay at home, except for essential outings, and have taken on the raft of new activities that are ‘the new normal’.”

Under the NSW Government’s Public Health Order, residents can gather outdoors in groups of 10, sit in cafes and restaurants with up to 10 patrons at any one time and invite five visitors to their home.

From Monday 1 June, this can be 50 patrons and premises must comply with the four square metre rule.

Mr Conaghan said these eased restrictions meant mobile offices and small group meetings could now go ahead with social distancing.

Mobile office sessions are available in:

• Willawarrin on Wednesday 24 June, 9am-12pm
• Bellbrook on Wednesday 24 June, 2-5pm
• Taylors Arm on Wednesday 1 July, 10am-3pm
• Macksville on Friday 3 July, 10am-3pm
• Kempsey on Thursday 23 July, 10am-3pm
• Bellingen on Wednesday 29 July, 10am-3pm
• Urunga on Wednesday 9 September, 10am-3pm
• Crescent Head on Thursday 17 September, 10am-3pm
• South West Rocks on Wednesday 23 September, 10am-3pm.

Residents wishing to book in a time for these days should contact Mr Conaghan’s Chief of Staff Matthew Field on (02) 5507 9555. The mobile offices will be advertised in local newspapers before the event and will be listed on Mr Conaghan’s website and his social media platforms.

Residents can of course continue to contact Mr Conaghan anytime at his Coffs Harbour electorate office on (02) 6652 6233 or the Port Macquarie office on (02) 5507 9555. Email communication can also be made to pat.conaghan.mp@aph.gov.au
