The Nationals and the NSW Government are encouraging people to prepare now to minimise the bushfire risk to people and property.
Local Rural Fire Service units have been holding great information days across the electorate of Cowper to remind residents to:
“Having experienced the devastating bushfires of 2019-20, I know all residents are keen to be prepared this fire season,” Federal Member for Cowper Pat Conaghan said.
“Local RFS brigades are organising information days, and this is a great opportunity to engage with your local brigade, find out about the fire risk in your area and learn about practical actions to get ready.”
The RFS have been undertaking hazard reduction burns in our area and the firefighting fleet is being upgraded.
